We’re visiting from Arizona and were really missing some authentic Mexican food—Ernie’s did not disappoint! The portions were generous, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything tasted fresh and made with love. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. You can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in their food. Highly recommend Ernie’s if you’re craving the real deal!

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, Ernie’s is the place to go! The chicken taquitos were absolutely excellent, crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. You can really taste the quality and tradition in every bite.
The restaurant itself is surprisingly spacious, with a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Whether you’re going out with friends, family, or just grabbing a casual bite, it has a great energy and ambiance that adds to the whole experience.
Highly recommend if you want delicious, real, deal Mexican food in a spot that feels both lively and laid-back!

We did read the experiences before we came here. It was 50/50. However, for us, it was very good. Great service, good food, cozy environment, and live Spanish guitar tonight. The staff was kind and no rudeness.

We hosted a dinner party for 32 people on Friday night and everything was perfect. Ernie's gave us a private space to host our celebration. It was spacious and the ambient lighting made everything feel cozy. We were welcomed with appetizer platters with a combination of quesadillas, taquitos, flautas, chicken wings, chips, salsa and guacamole- all of it fresh and delicious! Our servers were so attentive, they quickly brought out drinks, refills, and stayed close to attend to any requests - just wow! We had a prix fixe menu with a vegetarian, chicken and beef option - also delicious. Everyone was happy and full! Loved the food and the margaritas were a hit! The Events team including Johanna and another woman who's name I am forgetting right now, Hugo and others were just so accommodating, friendly, and professional. They made a special menu card for all our guests that was even themed to our celebration. Talk about the extra mile! I would not hesitate to host another event here - highly recommend! Now I just want to stop in for lunch or dinner. Thank you to the Ernie's team for making our night so memorable!

We love to take our family to Ernie's. Our grandaughter is treated like a little princess by the staff. They provide everything from coloring activity sheets to high chairs. Everyone from the hostess to the servers to the bartender is really kind and attentive . It has great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful people. We are so happy our son and daughter in law found it. It's just always a fun time when we go.

Being located in California,I expected better. Being in North Hollywood, I shouldn’t have expected so much.
The atmosphere was good even though I was the only Mexican eating there. Plus the random mish-mash played by the guitarist was kinda goofy…. Imagine a flamenco guitarist playing random movie themes and reggae. So let’s put the square pegs in the round holes now!
The food was ok but a bit salty. The aguas frescas sucked. My hibiscus tea (agua de jamaica) was very watered down and my wife’s agua de tamarindo was absolutely disgusting. Tasted like ocean water with apple juice. Plus, if you ask for no ice in your drinks they serve you in smaller glasses. Not impressed. Not coming back. Idaho has better Mexican food. Yes, I said Idaho.
