LOCATION!!! Su Casa is in a great spot at the north end of Venice, close to everything. The room was cozy and clean and the staff was incredible. Oscar at the front desk went above and beyond ensuring my stay was stellar and was very knowledgeable of the area—I’m very grateful!
Venice is loud, wacky, alive, and exuberant. Su Casa is a little refuge that allows you to experience it like a local. For a place right on the boardwalk, the room was way quieter than I expected. The kitchenette was stocked with all the tools needed for making meals, which was a nice way to supplement the countless amazing restaurants all nearby. Only downside was that the WiFi was not great—I had better luck using my phone as a hotspot than trying to use the WiFi for work.
Definitely try to stay here but keep in mind your location: it’s not quiet anywhere in Venice. If you’re a light sleeper, consider earplugs or white noise. Also note that you MUST use the stairs to access rooms. If you can’t do a flight of stairs (or two), this place isn’t for you.

Sometimes I research myself into a whole and feel like i can't pick anything. lately i feel like every hotel i pick, is trash - even brand name ones that shouldn't be. i have no been this excited walking into a hotel room in YEARS. They ended up giving us a larger room at check-in. when we walked in we had to most magical view of the beach. it's white and light and bright - all the things you're hoping for being on the beach. there's a kitchen which was great with a toddler. the bed was comfortable and the couch was even better. The bathroom could use a little upgrading but it didn't even matter because everything else was so great. parking was two businesses away and i think $30/day? we were walking distance to the skatepark, muscle beach area and we even walked to the santa monica pier (about 30 minutes). i would stay here every single time i came to venice.

Amazing upgrade to a one bedroom with terrace. Room has AC, but the weather was so nice at night in August that I could sleep with windows open and ceiling fan. All rooms accessible by stairs, no elevator (just be aware when packing!) It's a small hotel, so just basic services. It is on a quiet section of the board walk at the beginning of Venice Beach. Great restaurant on the ground floor.

Epic place to stay. We’ve been back multiple times in a couple months as we’ve needed a place in LA area. Location and service is awesome, SafetyPark valet parking a couple buildings over is secure and well serviced. Full apartment style rooms. Balcony rooms available, and ocean view. Our favorite place to stay! Robert at the desk is amazing and his service has been a huge part of our continuous rebooking and extending each time we stay. Thank you Su Casa team!

Robert and Leslie were amazing! Very helpful and it's nice having friendly faces greet you. Location was amazing, right off the water at the beginning of the strip. Always pleasure going to Venice Beach, tons of shopping and surf. Overall wonderful experience with a good price. Will be there again

We stayed at Su Casa for 4 nights. We got lucky and had an amazing Queen Size Suite facing the ocean. The view was beautiful! With a small child, the suite came in handy - plenty of space for crawling and a nice kitchenette for food prep. We spoke with Kyle, Robert, and Junior at the front desk during our stay. They were so helpful and kind. The hotel looks out onto the boardwalk. We had amazing live music all day! And the best part, by 9pm, all was quiet. If I ever travel back to Venice Beach, I wouldn't look anywhere else besides Su Casa. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

I had a great stay here at Su Casa! I stayed in the Ocean Queen Suite which was quite spacious, well decorated, clean, and with awesome ocean views! The bed was comfortable, and to my surprise the bath tub was humongous. That was really nice to take a hot soak in after all the hiking I had just done. Another benefit of staying at this hotel is that food, drinks, entertainment are all within walking distance. I recommend to just use the parking lot closest to the hotel, they had quoted me 50$ for overnight parking but its whatever. Id also like to mention how nice everybody treated me here, the two different front desk workers and the maids. Id highly consider staying here again should I find myself in the area!

Great find at Venice Beach. Easy access to the beach and boardwalk. It was hard to find the check in area since it was in the alley in the middle of the building. Parking was $50 a night in the closest paid lot. Good location that is close to many of the sights we wanted to see. It was nice having separate bedrooms.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff is amazing and even gave us a room upgrade when we arrived! If you’re looking for a beach feel to a room this is it! We had room number 5. I definitely recommend it and will return!
