I VERY rarely write reviews but I have to write one for Dr. Shannahoff. Super nice, personable and knowledgeable. I had a pinched nerve in my neck which not only made me not be able to raise my left arm but also made me not able to play pool, which is my love . Also not be able to make pizza, which I've been doing for 15 years plus. I tossed the dough in the air just like you see in restaurants. It was VERY stressful and devastating to me not to mention some basic motor skills that I completely lost. I could not raise my arm more than what would be parallel to the ground. After treatment it wasn't 100% there but Dr. informed me that It should get better. Wow and it sure did (Knowledge). I cannot thank him enough about brining my life back to normalcy again. I Humbly thank you Dr. Shannahoff!

After taking lots of medication and seeing several doctors and surgeons, for my excruciating back pain, my last resort was to submit myself to a back surgery. That was frightening. My husband proposed that I see Dr. Bruce Shannahoff. He had previously been treated by the Doctor for a neck injury. To make a long story short, after I finished my sessions with Dr. Shannahoff at the Valley Decompression Center, I am pain free for 2 months. The doctor is very pleasant and the decompression process is pain free. That is why I highly recommend this doctor.

My dad has been having pain in his lower back for about 15 years and he didn’t find no one to help him he would go doctor to doctor. Till about a month ago he couldn’t stand the pain and wanted to go to Mexico but I did a lot of research and found Dr.Bruce I called him and explained my dads situation about his Discs and we set up a consult visit. After the consult visit he put my dad on the compression machine to help with his discs no lie my dad felt like new after that consult. We knew he was going to make a change in my dad’s life. Today was his last session and he hasn’t had no pain ever since he started the treatment with Dr.Bruce and he feels like a new man! My dad is 56years old Never have I seen my dad so happy and not complaining everyday about his back. He says that Dr.Bruce was sent from god so he wouldn’t have to go to Mexico lol Thank you so much for your work and I totally recommend him to anyone that has problems with there discs. He’s a really good specialist and knows exactly what he’s doing. I give him more than 5 stars.

Before seeing Dr. Shanahoff I was suffering from 8/10 back pain every single day with burning sensation that radiates to my left leg. I was already being referred to a pain specialist when my employer recommended Dr. Shanahoff. 3 days into decompression treatment, burning sensation on my left leg is gone and my back just got better after each session. I never had this much relief for so many years that I forgot how good it feels. Dr. Shanahoff indeed is a miracle worker. His healing power doesn't just come from his knowledge of the craft but from his passion to help people live life like they used to no matter what it takes and how long it takes. Detailed and thorough with understanding patient's specific needs. Ensuring you understand his findings and his plan for correction. His goals are always to find a solution rather than a band aid. Originally went in with a herniated disc 8+ years ago. After no relief from others that were just treating symptoms. I was helped to find the real issue and a solution. Had only a couple of return visits in recent years to have my alignment corrected and its always been a pleasant experience.

Dr. Shannahoff is a very professional and caring Chiropractic Doctor. I have been suffering from low back pain, hip pain and recently from knee pain as well. I was looking for an Upper Cervical Specialist Chiropractor in the Encino area. After Dr. Shannahoff adjusted my neck (Atlas vertebrae) with his hands, I have noticed significant improvements. I wake up more rested because my back pain has almost completely disappeared. I walk with more confidence because my knee pain is not there anymore. I know I’m still healing but I’m so happy that my energy level has increased. For years my back pain was not allowing me to sleep well, thus draining my energy significantly.
