We have never had a subpar item from Shady Grove! So stoked they opened spitting distance from our apartment. We went during their first open weekend service and it was as good as we were hoping! The wings are super hot and fresh, the salad is incredible especially if you like papaya salad/Thai inspired dressing *drools*, and the fried chicken portion was more than enough to take some home to eat cold the next morning. Can’t wait to go back for brisket and ribs.

Shady Grove Foods has the best BBQ in the LBC hands down. Their staff is amazing & very friendly. Highly recommend their chicken sandwich & the tri-tip chimichurri sandwich! Oh & make sure to take home some BACON!
