I very much enjoyed the food here. We started with the loaded Michelada which came with butter soaked shrimp, three gigantic jalapeno stuffed olives and a thick piece of bacon. I followed that up with the ribs and was not disappointed. The flavors popped and the pineapple salsa was a perfect touch. I will say the ambiance is not ideal. There were flies buzzing around and I sat with a view of the storage room. The service was slow since they were busy but well worth the wait.

Excellent B.B.Q! They get their bread from Gusto next door so that elevates it even more. Love the potatoes that are cooked nice and crispy and the thick slices of bacon are killer! Every dish is seasoned well and the ingredients are fresh.

Everything we tried was really good quality and delicious! The bacon slices are insane! Tri tip sandwich is delish. Ribs are so tender. Meatloaf good. Definitely recommend getting the jalapeño ranch and some bbq sauce on the side!

So excited for this Long Beach staple to have a brick and mortar restaurant. This is a really unique California style bbq and everything on the menu is amazing. Sometimes the wait is long because everything is house-made from scratch, but it’s so worth the wait. Food will be gone before you even realize you forgot to take a photo of it 🤤

Shady Grove finally has a brick and morter restaurant!! Have been following for years as their pop ups and the food is still amazing! When you go ask for Jazz as a server they are fantastic! Get the bourbon bacon appetizer you will fall in love with it. Anything on the menu is fantastic especially if you love spicy! Go down and support you will be hooked!!
