The ladies (I didn’t get their names) were so attentive and gave excellent recommendations! There was a great selection of local yarns and name brands. Such a nice place to shop around, have a chat and take a class at the communal table.

I cannot recommend this yarn shop enough. Was visiting Chicago, and I was looking for a crochet pattern and yarn (I can no longer knit due to hyperextension, so I've picked up crochet). They have an excellent selection, are openly LGBTQ friendly, and the service was warm and welcoming. A week later, after struggling with the pattern, I gave them a call. Anna patiently walked me through the issue I was facing, going over process photos with me until I understood the instructions. I make it a habit to visit yarn stores when traveling, and Yarnify is one of the best!

I cannot recommend this store enough! Was visiting Chicago and looked for a crochet pattern. The friendly staff helped me find just what I was looking for. A week later, after struggling with the pattern, Anna kindly assisted me via text, patiently going through process photos and clarifying the pattern instructions. If you're looking for a great selection, LGBTQ-friendly space, with EXCEPTIONAL service, I cannot recommend this magical yarn store enough.

A bit late to writing this review, but aside the items available in store, customer service is A1. I went with my mom during Christmas to acquire a gift. I'm bilingual, but don't know much about sewing/crocheting/knitting. We got the gift, but my mom was trying to explain something else she needed and I was doing my best to figure out what she was looking for. I wish I had gotten her name, but one of the employees noticed and came back using Google translate to decipher what my mom wanted. It was above and beyond what I've seen most employees do in order to help a customer-- and I worked 14 years in customer service. Thank you guys!

My daughter really wanted to visit a Chicago yarn shop on our vacation and found Yarnify! She was not disappointed. It was a short walk in the Loop and easy to find with our map directions. The shop entrance is just off the street but there were instructions for getting into the foyer. Once inside it was a delight of colors and textures. Yarn everywhere. So many different colors, blends, and weights. There were lots of crochet kits and lovely samples and displays. There was also a whole area of colored roving. The proprietoresses were welcoming and helpful, asking about our project needs and yet not hovering. They just got back to their knitting and work at the set of tables in the center of the shop clearly set up for classes and workshops. My daughter found several skeins for her beekeeper's quilt. We would happily come back anytime we visit Chicago.
