I was visiting from out of town and looking for a souvenir skein. A staff member kindly guided me to exactly what I was looking for, and I ended up with a gorgeous locally dyed skein. The entire shop is charming, and everyone was so welcoming! I was also thrilled to find Portuguese knitting pins in stock, which are surprisingly hard to come by! Would recommend to any fiber artist in the area!!

Such a cute store! They have a great range of yarns in varying materials, colors, weights, and prices from very affordable ($5-7) to high end ($50) per skein. The staff is knowledgeable, super friendly, and eager to help! Don’t forget the sale racks in the very back of the store where you can find some awesome deals.
Just a note so that you’re not confused like I was - when you get there, you have to type in a code at the intercom by the outside door to be buzzed in. Don’t assume they’re closed just because the door seems locked. :)

Always have such a positive trip here, staff is always super kind and the store is lovely! Definitely something for everyone here. Their sale room and rewards system they have is always amazing. I appreciate how they also carry a variety of fibers even if you have a lower budget you can still find tons of options here ❤️

Very cute store and I was happy to see they are still taking covid seriously! I've never been to a dedicated yarn store but the staff helped me find the perfect yarn for the sweater I'm crocheting.

My favorite Illinois yarn shop! The staff is amazing, and there is always such a great selection of yarn here. In the very back is a pretty huge clearance section which I also love! If you're in Chicago for a small amount of time and you're conflicted about which of the many yarn shops to go to, definitely go either here or Sister-Arts Studio. Only downside is that parking stinks here and you may have to park somewhere for a good amount of money! May just be cheaper to Uber here. But either way is worth it for sure!! AND if you forget what yarn you bought here, if you message them on Facebook, sometimes they can let you know! Can not wait to go back

Excellent variety of yarns and colors, and helpful staff. Well worth the stop - and a great stash of needles. I’ll be going back there soon.

What a nice shop! I'm visiting from out of town and always look for local yarn stores to get a souvenir (e.g. a locally made stitch marker). They had exactly what I wanted (and had plenty of local artists' work!) and were so kind. I highly recommend visiting!

The ladies (I didn’t get their names) were so attentive and gave excellent recommendations! There was a great selection of local yarns and name brands. Such a nice place to shop around, have a chat and take a class at the communal table.
