Love Yarnify. Kinda a process to get buzzed in, but wait a few seconds and you'll be welcomed into a fun space with a huge range of luxury to economy priced yarns and supplies. Staff have always been helpful with matching patterns to the needed supplies and they are willing to talk you though options on the phone if you're not sure about making an order online. I've even had some clerks help me try to find a good color match for an existing project I brought in and make suggestions of where else I could find what I was looking for if they didn't have something in stock. I've never felt pressured to buy yarn way outside my budget or judged for my choices or skill level, like I have at some other stores in Chicago. I honestly don't know how they're able to afford this central location, and I am so grateful they exist. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!

What a cozy space ! The manager was super friendly and helpful on this cold snowy day, and they were open!! The yarn I purchased was new to them, and turned out to be problematic, which was disappointing for an expensive yarn. ($40) I will still visit again when next in Chicago, as I believe in LYS, and this is a cozy one!

Wonderful LYS! They have a great selection of yarn, but their real show stopper is their button selection, I'll go out of my way if I'm knitting a cardigan to go here and pick buttons. The staff is super cool and nice, and I also love just stopping by to hang out if I'm in downtown Chicago ❤️
