I can't say enough how helpful this place was. First off the rep who answered the phone was Mehki (Muh - Kai) sorry if I spelled your name wrong, but he was super helpful on the phone and in person when I got there. Informative, easy to work with and friendly. I was there because I was feeling terrible in my body and he put me at ease with the intake. Then Dr. Maria Sabau is, without any doubt, the BEST Doctor I've ever experienced. She came in friendly but firm, gave me the usual doctor convo but what made her stand out was how curious she was about me, my symptoms, and what lead to me getting there. Look, often with doctors I feel like they're barely listening and just trying to keep moving while subsiding my symptoms. Ok I get it, you're busy. But I'm a human being in pain. Maria, met me where I was. She told me the goods and bads and her directions were easy to follow. She even said "after a few days, call back in an let me know how this works for you". Wow. I'm really and truly lucky to have went in there. And thanks to her I am feeling much better now. Thanks to Mehki and Maria !

I had a very stressful medical experience recently, and I feel strongly about sharing this. I was initially diagnosed with lupus by my PCP based solely on a positive ANA test (1:80) without any further investigation. As I’ve since learned, ANA can be positive for many different reasons. Despite having symptoms and abnormal findings (including low vitamin D and an abnormal urinalysis), these were not properly addressed. I was simply told to “eat healthy,” which was frustrating since I already maintain a very healthy lifestyle. About 10 days later, I went to Mend Urgent Care with kidney-related symptoms. My urinalysis there came back normal, which raised even more questions. Dr. MARIA PREDA WAS INCREDIBLE. She took my concerns seriously, ordered detailed labs, and started me on vitamin D treatment right away. She didn’t dismiss anything. Instead, she carefully evaluated my situation and even referred me for an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound the same day to rule out another possibility. I was able to get seen quickly at the Burbank location, which I’m also very grateful for. Dr. Preda was very knowledgeable, and, most importantly, she genuinely cared. She took the time to explain things and helped calm me down after a very anxious few days. Since moving to North America 5 years ago, she is by far the most attentive and competent doctor I’ve encountered. I truly feel like she did what my PCP should have done from the beginning. Also, a big thank you to Jackie at the front desk, she was kind, helpful, and made the whole experience smoother. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received here. Dr. Preda is truly exceptional.

I had an excellent experience at Mend Urgent Care, especially with Dr. Meria Pred. She examined me very carefully and showed real professionalism and compassion. I was in severe pain and my condition was serious, and she was very concerned and insisted that I go to the ER immediately to receive proper treatment. What I truly appreciated is that she even called me later to make sure I actually went to the hospital and got the care I needed. Her medical judgment was absolutely correct, and she had the same opinion as another doctor regarding my condition — and their suspicion was right. I’m very grateful for her care, attention, and dedication. Dr. Pred genuinely cares about her patients, and I highly recommend Mend Urgent Care because of providers like her.

We have been to MEND twice now and the service was extraordinary. Their appointments ran on time and our experience was made seamless by the efficient and friendly staff. We were in and out in a timely manner. They now accept insurance, which is so helpful. Parking was easy but you do have to pay for it.

So I went to Mend for what I thought was my back. Dr. Maria Preda diagnosed me w/a rash which was agitating my nerve endings. That was music to my ears as that will go away w/meds & a bad back is more chronic in my opinion. She has great bedside manner & her assistant Scott was helpful as well, making sure my meds went to the right pharmacy. Erika at front desk was helpful as well as the whole staff. I highly recommend for all ailments as they are prompt, respectful & professional.
